APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
When we make an appointment for your pet(s), we reserve a certain amount of time to provide you and your pet(s) with the highest quality care based on your pets’ needs and type of appointment required. Due to the overwhelming increase in demand for veterinary services within the last few years, appointments are difficult to come by and as such, when an appointment is missed, it denies another patient access to timely veterinary care.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule an exam appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible, no later than two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If an appointment is missed and has not been cancelled or rescheduled, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the exam fee, per patient. This will enable another patient who is waiting for an exam appointment to be scheduled in that appointment slot.

For surgical appointments, we will collect a $100 deposit at the time of booking; this will be applied to the total at discharge. In the event you need to cancel a surgical appointment, we ask that you provide notice no less than 24 business hours, otherwise the $100 fee will be forfeited.

If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our office and we will gladly help you. JVC understands that things happen and appointments sometimes can’t be cancelled in advance. With that in mind, we will forgive a single missed appointment for existing clients. However, we will levy a fee after two missed appointments in a 12 month period.

In the event that you are running late for an appointment, please call our office so that we can review the veterinarian’s schedule and determine if there is still time that day to see your pet(s) or if we need to reschedule the appointment for another day.
As a courtesy, we remind our patients of their appointments via email, phone, and text. Please ensure your information is updated regularly with our staff so you are able to receive these reminders.
